Notes — “C”, “F sharp”, “B flat”

Moving — “next bar”, “octave up”, “undo”, “bar 17”
Pick the alphabet you are speaking. “do”, “so”, “la” and “mi” are ordinary English words, so Lipi only hears them as notes when you say that is what you mean.
The whole piece.
Lipi is a free music notation editor in the browser, built by Jason Zac at Nathaniel School of Music in Bangalore. There is no account. Open this page, type a pitch, and hear a grand piano. The editor is the score, not a worksheet.
Write notes with A through G, or sing them in with V, or speak them with S, or play them on a MIDI keyboard with M. Classroom, reading and chord drills in Lipi start in G. The same page can hold guitar tab, drums, and the 72 melakarta ragas. Export the page as a transparent PNG for video, or as PDF, MusicXML or MIDI when you need a file.
This page is the editor. The welcome tour and the MuseScore comparison live on their own URLs. Share copies a link to this studio; a saved score can travel in the address as well, but crawlers do not see that hash.
The byline on the editor points to the school. This page is the notation desk. When you want the same material taught in a room, develop your arranging and piano skills or explore free music lessons.
